Spinning Positions Thwarts and Shackles

While passing through a secret garden.
I saw a gumdrop toad.
He wore clothes of a dainty blue (Oh! How I love that hue!)

But then came a storm, washing away my smile.
Then in true form, I came back in style.

On a penniless day you can see the pinecone’s delirious

Caution overtook my journey.
So I kept my eyes on the road.
But a cocoon soon consumed me.
And I now hang from a tree

Oh, How’d I get here?
Not willingly that’s for sure.
My heart’s patience was waning, then the wind appeared.
It would stop for no creature, just spinning positions, thwarts, and shackles
So, why would I fear that which I can’t steer?

On a penniless day you can see the pinecone’s delirious

Then I fell from the weathered cocoon.
Lying on my back, what did I see?
BLUE………….
